How To Place An Order

Placing an order with The Face & I-D Archive.

The magazines are placed in collections to browse per year of publication. Use the search box to look for a person of interest on the cover of a magazine. The entire contents of each magazine is not listed. 

Each magazine is placed in it's respective collection and they are divided by year.  

Adding to cart

At any stage you see a magazine you desire, simply add this magazine to cart using the ‘add to cart’ button. This is a one click action. If you require more than one copy - please browse the year of this collection in its entirety to see if we have more than one copy available. Each copy we have will have its own product page. You can delete as many items as you wish at the checkout page.

How do I pay for my order?

Payment is simple. We accept all major credit/debit cards including Mastercard, Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, American Express using the Shop Pay payment platform. A high level of encryption is used and we do not personally see nor keep your full card details. For customers using Apple Pay or Google pay this could not be easier. Simply use your one step payment completion with your fingerprint. If using this method, please ensure that your current delivery address is correct.

Can I pay in my own currency?

All magazines offered for sale on The Face & I-D Magazine Archive are priced in UK pound sterling. The total price paid will be debited in Sterling. The transaction amount will be debited from your account at the current rate of exchange for your country.

How do I know if my order has been successful?

When can i expect my order?

Upon receiving your order, your package will be despatched within 3 working days. If your order is placed on a Friday evening it will most likely be posted on Monday. We despatch items several times a week. Once your item/s are packed and labelled we may add your tracking information to the parcel and order status a little before it has left. This helps our admin but your tracking information will be updated once  it has been received by the post office. You will automatically receive an email once we have completed your order. If you have requested a text - this will arrive at the same time.

Will my magazines be safely packaged?

At the time of being checked and uploaded to our website, all magazines are placed in waterproof, sealed archival sleeves. When posted, your magazine will be sent with stiff card, boarded or padded envelopes with plenty of protection. Larger orders will be divided into smaller bubble wrapped parcels and sent in a sturdy box.

The magazine I want is out of stock. Can you find another?

Every single copy we have of a certain magazine will have its own product page. We will have numerous copies available with a different condition description for each. Any item showing as sold has been purchased by another buyer. In time, this product page will be deleted. All those showing as available are still in stock.

We are constantly striving to increases our archive and the site has new issues added almost daily. If you would like a specific issue, please check if we can re-stock it soon.

Do you sell digital magazine scans?

Unfortunately no. We sell physical magazines only and we can not provide scans. 

Sales Tax Upon Delivery. 

We are based in the United Kingdom ( UK ) - All prices quoted on the website are in UK pound sterling. We post throughout the globe with shipping calculated at checkout which includes the delivery cost only. 

As the UK is no longer part of Europe, we are unable to be held responsible for any tax which may be incurred upon delivery to countries outside the UK.  This situation is different for all countries throughout the world, and is out of our control. If a delivery tax is charged, this may include and administration fee from your countries postal service. 

Please make yourself familiar with how your country charges tax on items purchased worldwide. We have no way of knowing individual taxable rates for every country worldwide.
